About(sales)blogs ... again.I have banned 3 sites and counting since yesterday. I am reading the blogs. So even if your "title" is misleading the content isn't--you'll still be busted for posting sales, auction links, and offers. I am not sending out warning emails btw. I'm shutting down sites on recognition.I will continue to eliminate sites automatically. Thanks for your continuing support,Cap'n JackPSWatch out for the Black Pearl...

Will these folks have a chance to return? I liked their galleries. Without something on the front page (your blog post was bumped off fairly quickly), I think this will continue to be a problem.

I don't see what the trouble is here. There is a perfectly good location that states Rubberslug's policy on sales, at the top of each users account management page! And I quote, "Reminder: No sales transactions are allowed on Rubberslug. You must have in your possession every cel on your site. No filedumps. Any violation of these three rules will result in an instant site ban." Last I checked you need to go through this page to add a new blog topic. If people can't play by the rules the consequences are clearly stated, "instant site ban".MokA faithful hand before the mast, oh Captain, my Captain.

But sales transactions are allowed. There is a Rubberslug shop and members can have offer/trade sections in their galleries. If the rules were updated to include more specific information, I think that would be very helpful. I refuse to believe that all these people who have been awesome RS members would willingly break the rules when they know their gallery is on the line.

I thought the offers/for sale sections within individual galleries were also not allowed? I thought that was discussed before... I don't remember.I think the blanket statement about transactions not being allowed, cited in the rules by Mok, is a blanket legal statement. Jason and RS is covering their butts because if you try to buy a cel from someone and they don't deliver, there might be some legal backlash on RS. Hence the store's creation. The rule was worded long before the store was created, so that might be the reason for the confusion. I still think the rules should be linked on the front page of RS, or perhaps revolving in place of the News? That news is super old and never updated anymore... (is it?)How can you tell who knows the rules and who doesn't? Who cares and who is blatantly breaking the rules? You can't tell. The rules have never really been enforced before, hence the lack of willful compliance.
